Roses Are Red Read Count : 76

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

All these stupid poems in my head remind me of you.

The clouds are white,

And the grass is green,

But you were nothing more than what you made it seem.

My heart is beating,

Yours is too,

But sadly my heart no longer beats for you.

You lost what you had,

Did it cost you anything?

Me?

My heart was shattered,

You made me feel like I didn’t matter.

Now my heart beats to a new song,

To a new chord,

So when it hears your voice now it goes off beat, it no longer knows you, just like you don’t know me.

I’m happy,

Happy as can be.

I smile more now and laugh out loud, too bad the only joke you were good at was presenting yourself.

You’re a joke, a bad punchline

Why did I ever think we would ever be more than just fine

I used to beat myself black and blue but because of you, yeah because of you i know who I finally am.

Roses are red,

And violets are blue,

From here on out, I’m dead to you.

It’s important to recognize an unhealthy relationship as you did and seek happiness elsewhere 🦋well done🦋🦋🦋
