I didn't know what to think about the events taking place in my life. 
It seemed every direction I turned circumstance halted me. 
I had been conditioned to disappointment and know that things don't always go my way, but this was different. It seemed nothing was going right - ever.

I sit in my rented room with my phone cupped in my hands tapping on this tiny keyboard searching for inspiration. My room mates are making their usual noises in their rooms next to me.

It's not a bad gig. I have no reason to complain since camparing my life just a short while ago and the place I am coming from - in truth, this is a minor heaven to me, but I am spinning in circles, bewildered by the pace and totally freaked about my lack of progress.

Whenever I decided on a course of action there seems an obsticale in my way. I try to go around, over, or through and after battling, more likely than not, come to realize the entire path I had taken was doomed from the start. 

So I begin again. And again. And when I am flat on my face once more wondering where, when, or how I placed my foot wrong this time, I pick myself up and try - yet again.

Maybe for some planning their steps, making their way into the future, arranging their days had become practiced, but for me, I can only say, it has been - unexpected.
