Waves of emotions crash into me 
Like the motion of our bodies used to
My mind rushes with the sweetest 
Memories of us two together
Remembering your smile those pale blue eyes
The way your nose crinkled when u laugh hard
Then all of a sudden
My heart clashes with my mind
I'm flooded by the painful memories
Swallowed by the darkest moments
Sitting deep of the belly of the beast
Waiting for this tide to subdue
Til I can once again find comfort
Knowing I got to experience
The man hidden deep within you
Soon these emotions will ease
Becoming less vivid slowly to fade
Never to forget the connection we had
And when people ask me about you
All I'll tell them is
It was a privilege to have loved you.
