I've spent so long on all the wrong things

the right things seem intangible

Wasted years devoted to what i believed was love

That the real thing seems impossible

Adapting to be the woman you would want

only to be reminded I'm never enough

Broken and ashamed, losing touch with reality,

All I can do is watch my fading identity

While I eagerly built myself and life around u,

u were only there for what u could use

Now learning to survive since you've gone away,

and yet still I remain in such disarray

Forever changed, lost I'll remain.

Happiness 🦋contentment can only come if you’re true to yourself You can’t have quality if you try to reconstruct yourself for anyone else🦋🦋
