Summer Serenade 6//9/19 Read Count : 68

The breeze moves the trees with a gentle caress
Swaying in hula/like precision revealing the powder blue sky
Cardinals and Blue Jays perform their
mid-June air show while a lone squirrel-
down from his oak tree home surveys the lawn for acorn treasure

Mother Nature-as only she can-has captured the essence of pure beauty in a scene devoid of any man-made distractions

This natural masterpiece is a testament to peace and tranquility often noticed
but rarely appreciated in the complexities of worldly issues

In this moment as I’m drawn into this hypnotic  aura with no care- only beauty to experience -hoping that when I’m
confronted with life’s challenging issues
This brief but vivid rest stop will sustain me through these  trying times
