Whispering wind, which way shall you blow?  Is it West, towards the setting sun with its orange-red glow?

Oh whispering wind, shall you change your mind?  Will you blow East towards the moon, rising to greet the night?

Whispering wind, which way shall we go?  Will you blow towards the North, where it's rather cold?

Ah whispering wind, it's time to change direction.  Blow towards the South along with the birds, to a tiny island that nobody has heard.

Whispering wind, you're like an old friend.  Nudging my course and providing me zen.

Now my time is coming to a close.  I release this Earth, and let go my soul, with the whispering wind, wherever it blows.
