Do you know the real me?
The mentally unstable? 
The one who always tries to be willing, ready and able?
The crazy and the psycho, & maybe criminally insane, 
The one who gave up on love long ago because she's tired of all of its pain.
Do you know the real me?
The one that seems controlled? 
The one who speaks her mind completely, unfiltered and so bold?
The girl who trust nobody and never lets her guard go down?
The girl that cries herself to sleep with so many tears that she could drown?
Do you know the real me? 
The one who is fragile & so very weak?
The girl that wants to be loved so badly, that of it she can barely even speak?
Do you know the real me?
The angry & the mad?
The one who feels she's been robbed of the life that she really should've had?
Who's every joy has been taken, washed away by so many tears,
The girl who's pushed away love at all costs & will probably continue to do so for years.
Do you know the real me?
The one that's become so emotionally numb? 
The girl that wishes she'd made better choices for a better life and a better outcome?
Or do you know the real me? 
The one who supplies so much joy and laughter,
The girl who still is brave enough to dream of a life where there's happily ever after?
So many people make up who I am, I can love unconditionally or not give a damn.
There are many sides that create the person you see
When I break I just put the pieces back differently
