Lavender Nights Read Count : 142

Petals dance across the cool air,

Brushing against fingertips,

Tickling your hair.

Clouds still and purple,

Can you see the sky?

Lit with the flicker of intimate warmth,

Burning in your eyes.

Hand inside yours,

Your lips pressed to mine,

Finally someone sees,

Beneath my strong disguise.

Moon shines overhead,

An exquisite white,

Here will be my place for you,

On these lavender nights.
