Chaotic and confusing,
emotions fading or brewing.
Stand aside and let them pass,
or take a swing and hit them fast.
War is waged and people rage,
they tear each other down.
No one wants to take a moment, 
just to listen to the sound.
Silence is so beautiful, if you care to listen.  Calm the soul, lose the friction.  
Deep breath in, then exhale.  
Oh the stories we could tell.
Forget the hate, let go the rage.
Start a new chapter, turn the page.
It's time for our society,
to end the hate and change priorities. 
Help a neighbor,  be a friend.
May kindness never end.
With a dash of love and a pinch of faith,
we can make the world a better place.
