He lay in the grass, down in the meadow.  The setting sun bathed the trees, which cast their shadow.

The sun sank down, spilling its last light.  The skies grew dark as day became night.

He gazed at his lover as the stars began to shine.  Caressed her cheek, her skin so fine.  He toyed with her hair while the stars danced in her eyes.  He was stunned by her beauty as she seemed to glow with the moonrise.

Her lips so inviting, he couldn't resist.  Leaning in closely, he gave them a kiss.  She returned his gesture, unabashed in euphoric bliss.  Fingers caressed her neck and down across her bussom.  Slowly drawing circles around her belly button.

She drew him in, until they were skin to skin.  She gently bit the lobe of his ear, teasing him softly, calming his fear.

She moved his hand further down, placing his hand between her thighs.  He felt her moisture, watched her chest sharply rise.  Bodies close, skin to skin, in the moonlight they moved to the rhythm of the gentle wind.

Through the night, with the stars above, they whispered softly, professing their love.  As the sun brought forth the dawn, he held her tightly, perfectly calm.  The darkness faded, from deep purples to blues.  As the sun began to creep up into the sky, a myriad of orange, red, and yellow washed away the night.

They were content in each others arms, he silently vowed to keep her from harm.  The sunlight washed over them, basking their bodies in its glow.  They stared at each other, not wanting to let go.
