I am at the depths of despairI have reached the limit of my fightI’m at the lowest of my lowsAnd still I writeI feel my world is crumblingMy emotions black as nightMy speech is more like mumblingAnd still I writeA little time has passedThere’s a tiny glimmer of lightSurrounded by depressionAnd still I writeExperience has taken overI strain with all my mightThe effort is enormousAnd still I writeI look back at other issuesI m sharpening my sightSome main events are blurryAnd still I writeBreaking the wall that has blocked meRevealing a sun-drenched siteBack on the road to recoveryAnd still I writeI’m finally out of this hell holeThis one gave me a frightThe tension is fading behind meAnd still I writeWhatever I face in the futureTo my writing I must hold on tightI must never take it for grantedAnd still I’ll write
