And Still I Write 6/19/19 Read Count : 131

I am at the depths of  despair
I have reached the limit of my fight
I’m at the lowest of my lows
And still I write

I feel my world is crumbling
My emotions black as night
My speech is more like mumbling
And still I write

A little time has passed
There’s a tiny glimmer of light
 Surrounded by depression
And still I write

Experience has taken over
I strain with all my might
The effort is enormous
And still I write

I look back at other issues
I m sharpening my sight
Some main events are blurry
And still I write

Breaking the wall that has blocked me
Revealing a sun-drenched site
Back on the road to recovery
And still I write

I’m finally out of this hell hole
This one gave me a fright
The tension is fading behind me
And still I write

Whatever I face in the future
To my writing I must hold on tight
I must never take it for granted
And still I’ll write
