God created life
God created love... and the rest
So why do I have a sinking feeling
That this feeling in my heart is a test


A test to see if I really do deserve
A chance of love...true love
A love so... undescribably pure
Like one that flies on the wings of a dove


To kiss so deeply
To feel to the very soul
Heart racing at the sight
Aching to fill the unknown hole


Staring into eyes of the one
The one who makes my heart slow down
But also speed up the thought
Maybe to see how far I've grown


Is that what love is really
A test to see how far you will go
How far you're willing to hurt
Just show you won't show
