Time passes, feelings fade,
and we're left with just the memories.
Left with joy, left with sorrow,
left with hope for a better tomorrow.
Try to love, to hold onto hope.
I know it's hard when you're trying to cope.
You can cry upon my shoulder, I'll hug you when you're cold,
but take some time, sweet friend of mine, and learn to grieve alone.
For if you ever need me, you know that I'm not far.
I'll be right there to help you, to comfort your aching heart.
