There are days when the words just flow, raw emotion wrapped in prose.
Other days when the words won't come, just blank pages under my thumb.
When the heart battles the brain, all the insanity is trapped on the page.
It may be best to pour out your heart, onto the paper as the first resort.
And when you read those words as a whole, you can start to read their very soul.
Whether in a rhyme or by free verse, writers open the universe.
Romantic entanglements or flights of fancy, criminal minds and the Queens fancy,
All are borne from minds with a gift, read them closely, your spirit they'll lift.
