It is a simple concept:What I can’t do by myself I can do with othersA timeless practice of Strength In NumbersAs in most actions it has been used for good and unfortunately for destructivepurposes as wellMany of us have been part of this as paticapants or victims at sometime in their livesAt 13- moving into a new state and community-I became part of thisdeceitful action for acceptance and protectionIt was verbal without victims -among a small group of my “friends “ but no less despicable -deceitful Ann in excusableYears later -serving in the Army I was a victim of this action and fought back verbally and physically remembering how ashamed I was from my earlierbehaviorI firmly believed it takes far more courage- strength and integrity to followYour faith and conscience and refuse to participate anything objectionableThere are many accountsof our writersbeing victims of these hanious attacksIn a variety of ways that have resulted in tragic mental and physical damageMany have nowhere to turn for help and detail the incidents with such painrevealed in their writingsAs disturbed as this is it is equally disturbing to be unable to directly help these victimsWe can and do encourage writing and sharing and support through “comments”Beyond that - I’m not sure what our community can doIn retrospect this sounds like a plea and I suppose it is for anyone with ideasNot much else to say except -What do you say?
