Things I Love About Myself

  • My ability to work through problems with or without a group
  • My ability to make people smile or laugh just by being myself
  • Being able to make friends with people easily
  • Talking through my problems and letting people talk about their problems
  • My ability to love people no matter what they do (unless they piss me off)
  • Trying to help people get through tough times in life
  • My soft spoken (and apparently soothing) voice
  • My ability to help people calm down

1. My ability to work through problems with or without a group

Now I am a very shy kid in class. I'm not like "NOTICE ME, I AM IMPORTANT!" No. I am a very secluded and independent individual. When we are allowed to work with friends in science, I watch everyone rush off to find their friends and I sit at a desk, by myself and get my work done. When I have to work with a group however, I'm still very quiet, but I'm usually the one who keeps the group on task (and from ripping each other's heads off). Usually when I work alone, people ask me for answers and, damn my kindness, I give them the answers. Usually my teacher can tell when  someone copied my answers.

2. My ability to make people smile or laugh just by being myself

This is one of my favorite things about myself. I am a very fun person when I'm not in class or around teachers. The thing about me is I like making fun of myself, though people think I'm downgrading myself, I'm not. I'm taking something that I did and making a joke about it. My friends say my laugh sounds like a banshee, but I laugh like my mother and I love it. My friends can make me laugh and then I make them laugh by laughing and being myself. The weird, kind, lovable me. I shouldn't have to hide who I am because of the music I like or the fact that I make fun of myself and it's fun.

3. Being able to make friends with people easily

Another one of my favorite things about myself. I've always been a social butterfly, but in sixth grade I lost my social butterfly persona. I was fortunate to have friends who noticed and asked me what was wrong. I told them that I've been having a hard time sleeping. Whenever I make a new friend, their smile makes me smile and no matter how bad things get for me, always have friends that I made connections with.

4. Talking through my problems and letting people talk about their problems

I am a very calming person, but my friends have always been able to see when something was wrong. When my friends have problems I let them cry on my shoulder if they need it. I give them the support they need. I'm seen as a psychic because whenever something is wrong with my friends I can tell. My friends say, "It's like you can just look and tell when something's wrong." Some say that I'm like their soul sister. I know whenever I need that shoulder or just to talk about what's going on in my life, that my friends will always be there for me.

5. My ability to love people no matter what they do (unless they piss me off)

I've always been the person who has been able to make friends with people, but there were two individuals who I had to cut from my friendship. These two individuals, codenames Beauty Queen and M happened to just piss me off. However, I've always said that my friends are like my family and if I see them hurt or being tormented, I step in and if the person throws the first punch at me, I fight back. So I've always loved my friends like my siblings because I just love my sisters and brother.

6. Trying to help people get through tough times in life

I'm a very understanding person and when someone is going through something that's taking a toll on their well-being, I know and I let them talk to me. On one instance, one of my friends, codename Doom slayer, had lost his dog to cancer and he went to school the next day, looking like he was going to cry. I could tell that something happened and when he told me what happened, I reminded him of what we say when something like this happens, which is, Jonathan Davis screams so we don't have to. If you like KoRn you get it. He told me that he was glad to have me as a friend. So I allow people to tell me what's wrong and I help them through it.

7. My soft spoken (and apparently soothing) voice

I am always told that I have a soothing voice. You may have no idea what my voice sounds like, but I'll describe it. The way I speak is very low and soft. I don't have the highest voice in the world, but my voice is very low and soft. Whenever my friend, codename Highlighter, was angry, I told him to calm down and he'd listen to me and relax, one time he lost it and when I told him to calm down, he did and I told him to breathe and he kinda had his hands in a ball, I placed my hand on his and told him, "This is the reaction everyone wants, especially the ones tormenting you, as long as you don't react, it'll be okay." Then he responds with, "Why is your voice so soothing." Then I walked back and everyone was like "You love Highlighter!" I kept my cool and responded, "Yeah I love him like a brother and maybe if you'd stop tormenting him, he'd be nicer to all of you fuckers." I'm the go to person when someone needs to calm down.

8. My ability to help people calm down

Whenever any of my friends are angry I look at them and tell them to breathe. To which they sit down near me and talk about what pissed them out. I enjoy talking to them about their problems and they love me helping them calm down and laugh. I pretty much keep my group from killing one another.
