Ragdoll (Not A Love Song) Read Count : 120

Category : Poems

Sub Category : N/A

I used to listen to country songs when I first saw you.

Not in the club though but at Frank’s cafe.

I used to listen to EDM music when you gave me the kiss goodnight.

Oh it was under the moonlight.

Butterflies in my stomach.

So I know how it feels like being red and blue in the same time.

Something on your lips I’d love to taste it.

Like a love song I sing.

Like those candles burned inside of me.

Light me up, in the darkened room.

I used to listen to hard rock music while you broke my heart.

Like I was your stupid cat.

You pushed me away.

You pulled me in.

Anytime you want me to.

I wasn’t that ragdoll.

Boy, you were losing your direction.

I broke my favorite guitar to buy you liquors.

Even for some weeds.

I know I was on fire.

You couldn’t save me except myself.

I won’t sing a sad love song anymore.

Instead I chose my safe haven.

No, I’m not in my daydream.

Because I’m feeling free now.

  • I love the way you write because it's more than like writing you're putting your heart into it and I think that is amazing and you should keep doing what you doing
