Cowardly ways, they have defined me
A voice that has no sound
I promised her this and that
But I couldn't hold us down
No man here 

I wanted to share in on her dreams and goals.
Be the one who makes her complete.
But comparison of me to him always came up
I felt like I couldn't win, so I accepted defeat
No man here

She wanted a man with an S on his chest
Someone to ease her fear
But all she got was me
Me who hangs his head down low
And admits, no man here
