Learning the art of exorcism needs immense courage since the soul you encounter might be good or bad. In majority of the case studies the most interesting thing or what you call it has the basics of exorcism is THE GHOSTS ENTRY. Normally what we see in a movie is true but when we encounter it in reality it is completely a different experience. 
                                                             I learnt that the first step to know whether a ghost exists or not is to feel the presence of negative energy. Negative energy can be detected using paranormal detection equipment and sensors. We even have apps in mobile that fakes us to be paranormal sensor and gives us the details of various dots indicating that it might be negative forces. Though to some extent we can take this equipments into consideration for a reason, normally ghosts gets captured in the camera which is not visible to our eyes.
