I tried to stop you
But with no prevail
You packed up your things
After you said you'd never bail
My heart's left in pieces
There's nothing left to take
After I gave it to you
You promised it wouldn't break
My feelings are gone now
There's nothing left to steal
I won't ever get better
How will I ever heal?
The answer is I won't
Because when you left I left with you
I can't think it's too much
To deal with or without you
I never expected our last exchange
To end with this much pain
Now my heart cracks like thunder
And from my eyes fall tears like rain
I miss you
