Where would we be
Without your sacrifice across the sea

So many -so young
A future cut short is the song to be sung

To their ultimate sacrifice we dedicate 
 To those who returned we appreciate 

Our lives are now better by far
And the ones who came back still bear
the scars

With fervent gratitude and appreciation 
Your efforts made this a better nation
