Science is a very important part of the world right now and it has made a lot of contributions as far as making work easier. Science has made working more effective and efficient in terms of the quality and time taken to complete a certain task. The science world is vast and has many lucrative opportunities; basically, you will be spoilt for choice if you choose to venture into it. There are many job opportunities available for those interested; not forgetting that these are well paying jobs. Science will allow you to work at any part of the world that you would like, it is universal.

There is quite a large number of careers that one can take up in the science field, some of them include: like being a chemist. When you make the decision and decide to be a chemist all you will have to do is study chemicals and find a way on how to manipulate them in such a way that they can be used to improve human life. In order to qualify for a decent and high paying job you will have to acquire a PhD or a master’s degree at the very least. A limited number of jobs accept a bachelor’s degree only so you will have to go the extra mile and further your studies. 

Another path that you may opt to take in the science field as far as career choices are concerned is being a conservationist. The main job that a conservationist has to do is to help landowners, as well as the government, find ways to protect natural resources such as water and soil for agricultural purposes. To secure a job as a conservationist, you will have to earn yourself a bachelor's degree in ecology, natural resource management, environmental science, agriculture or biology.

In the science field, you can also work as an environmental science and protection technician. As an environmental technician, your main job will be to monitor the environment and investigate sources of pollution and work under the environmental scientist’s supervision. For you to qualify for this job you will have to acquire an associate degree or certificate in applied science. But some of them might require a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology. 

Another avenue for you to seek employment as a science student is a forensic scientist. They are most commonly referred to as crime scene investigators. Their main job is to collect and analyze physical evidence that they get from the actual scene of the crime. It is quite an interesting job. Many employers in this particular field will require you to have at least two years of training or an associate degree in applied sciences or science related technology.

Hydrologist is another career path that you may prefer to choose as it is very marketable. Your main job as a hydrologist will be studying water bodies both on the earth’s surface and underground. As a hydrologist, you will look at the water bodies’ circulation, distribution, and physical properties. To work in this field, you will need a master's degree in geoscience, environmental science, or engineering with a concentration in hydrology or water sciences. These are just to mention but a few of the many job opportunities that are available in the science field.
