If I am to shear my dream

I would have to dive into the deep

The forge of wishes I could fulfile

And I would say writing is quite a dream

Wowed by my dream

A friend said I must beam

Not beam as a bulb would shine

But with the light of "know myself"

But as I drill deeper

And my attention keener

I face a truth that is bitter

A truth that beats my wonder

A friend says for a poem to be well

It must be true and unique

Diligently forged out of experience

Only then world I be true a writer

To write and spread the good

I must find my Deepest Truth

If I find, then the time to write is ripe

As I write, within there is a fight

Sad moments emerge ever victorious

Happy moments but a blue memory

Would I say I fail to see the good,

Or my past was just as sad a way of life?

This is my deepest Truth

My bitter truth

Which reminds me

I may have lost the eye for the good.
