With each tick of the clock
Somewhere a dream is unlocked 
A sin is committed 
The act is admitted 
Two lovers through marriage are bound 
Another weeps as her man is lowered 
in the ground
Time has no opinion 
It encases all life within
It has no control 
Controlling iife is our role 

We are the masters of our own destiny 
But other events influence what’s going
To be 
As time moves at its unstoppable pace
We’re involved in our personal race
To bettering our lives
Or a fight to survive 
To search tor the best 
Is the universal quest 

Within the scope of time
Dark clouds obscure th shine  
Some  have given up trying 
Their only solution to is dying
Others refuse to admit
That solution for them does not fit

With this never ending of our life’s tales
There’s the constant changing of its balancing scale 

As the drama unfolds
This story is old
We all search for happiness 
And our version of success 

There are difficult ways to find it
There are different ways to keep it
And time reveals everything 
It has no secret
