Who has not been even at a simple hotel at the shore and sat back under the umbrella in the sand or on the balcony of the hotel room soaking in the sun and the caresses of the wind and fresh air and though to himself, I could get used to this. I do not want to leave.

Take that and magnify it. Place yourself somewhere by the shore with not only com-fortable, attractive accommodations but with all sorts of perks. A wonderland. A comfort and ease fantasy. A resort, by george! People or activities everywhere catering to the individual. Only this one does not have to be left. One does not have to check-out be-cause one is at home! Anchor yourself in the here and now but imagine that!

One can still go to the canopied verandas by the pool or to the outdoor service bar where healthy foods and drinks are available. One can explore the many park areas on the property or frolic in the gift of foaming waves and tides of Mother Nature herself.

So many people work from home in part or completely that the design of the Eighty-seven Park homes toward that end begin to foster a healthier occupant. Sit at the kitchen bar with the laptop and phone on a conference call while the visual of the waves lapping the shore instantly begin their calming effect. Or stand in front of the bathroom sink shaving or practicing dental hygiene while staring out the windows at the tide and begin one’s day feeling calm and ready to battle the lion from the start. There is every luxury and aid inherent in the building design and residence design. Boxiness is gone. Openness and oneness with the natural environment are in.

Eighty-seven Park gears toward a healthy and happy resident in every way. That means community and not just a residential building. It also means construction and design toward good health. It means amenities that support the architectural design. Speaking of design, yours truly notices right away the oval shape of the building. In automotive terms, it is aerodynamic, wind-resistant. In South Florida that is no small detail. While there is no guarantee against hurricane winds, a structure built to be wind-resistant provides more hope than one that is not.

Of course, there are positives and drawbacks to pre-construction condominium pur-chases. The buyer has more say in things like light fixtures, door handles, and the like compared to buying a residence where those choices have already been made and would need to be changed if the buyer preferred something else.

Another consideration is that all the planned amenities for the community may not be available from the move-in day of the first resident. The community will likely need to develop and the amenities along with it.

The next point is both a challenge and a benefit. The earlier a person becomes a resi-dent, the more the person is able to experience the completion of other residences within the building. That is the challenge. The up-side is that one becomes a sort of unofficial go-to person among the incoming residents. It is not an unfavorable way at all to meet people in the community and to make friends and network.

One can also consult city planners in addition to the property developers to know what the city is planning for the areas around the property. One may be able to learn wheth-er more schools, shopping areas, medical facilities, et cetera are planned as well as traffic concerns and the like.

Another consideration is that, unlike a buyer who puts down a deposit on a home and then decides against the home and simply forfeits the deposit in many cases, in a pre-construction scenario the buyer can not withdraw once the construction of the residence begins.

Of course there are points to consider in looking at Eighty-seven Park. That is true any-where. The plan for the individual homes and the community collectively, though, leave little doubt as to the excellence in the quality of life to be had here.
