You Broke Me Read Count : 129

As I lay awake I contemplate whether or not I was good enough.

How many mistakes I had to make for you to reach your breaking point to end everything. but you did, you ending everything in a way so cowardly, it’s like you didn’t respect me enough to do it face to face.

As I lay awake I think of all the times you broke me. All the times you left me here in this bed all alone just for me to be consumed of the very things that I opened up to you about, the things that haunt me the most, the things that have left me scars on top of scars only to realize that I gave you to much power over me that you could use the one thing that most likely would leave me buried six feet deep one day. You left me here, alone with my thoughts and depression. Everything I once was before you is right back again, well I guess it never actually left. Now what do I do? You were the only one who could help me through this maze of a brain that I have, I’m lost again. I can’t seem to figure out how to escape again. These ghosts are following me again, and suddenly it’s 2 am and I am awake because I can’t sleep again. You were the best part of me, now I’m back to being just me and that me I speak of so dearly, terrifies me.
