Alone with my thoughtsA never- ending journeyConjuring up imagesSo clearly I can seeWhether day or nightIn darkness or lightWhen stillness flows inRecollection starts withinAn event that just occurredOr an incident absurdA twenty year old memoryOf a conflict with an enemyLike splash painting on a wallWhen it splatters to createThe images appearYou don’t have long to waitThe brain’s electric chargeStatic’s visions small and largeEach one a part of your pastRecall that’s made to lastWe’ve been designed with this giftWhich makes us uniqueWhen life’s situations shiftAnd it’s solutions we seekAlone is not only a physical thingBut the mind is not yet doneYou can be with dozens of folksStill you’are the only oneAlone and lonelinessAre miles apartAlone can be a much helpBut lonelienes can break your heartAs in all life’s workYou have to put it to useThere isn’t much more to sayIf you ignore this -there’s no excuseIt can effect more than today
