It Wasn't Me And She Knew It Read Count : 67

I couldn't look up

Face down I stood in tears

Many thought it was me

She said it was out of guilt

But the truth was in her heart

There I stood

Knife in had, blood on me

Yet the killer walked away before her eyes

Her love had penetrated my sheild of hatred

But little did I know it was yet another sword of sorrow.

How could love be so sweet yet so painful when betrayal becomes a spice?
