Am I to wait to be valued or am I to value the man who values the fact that I value myself? If a man walks in on a woman getting satisfaction from another man, he calls her a whore. If a woman walks in on a man getting satisfaction from another woman, she is hurt and is told "he did nothing wrong". Should she wait to be valued by her husband or should she value herself and protect her heart? Even against her own husband she must guard her expectations and her desires lest unmet expectations, no matter how standard and reasonable, crush her committed heart. Et tu, Brute?
