When you give up hope 
And you’re at the end of your rope
You surrender unconditionally 
To depression and misery 

No matter who the enemies are 
Satan-Demons-Fate from afar 
Or people at home or others you know 
Bringing you down-getting you low

You’ve a great weapon at your fingertips It can be a strong force-listen to this
Its something given when you were born
To live a good life and weather the storm 

It’s always with you at times deep within
You can start the challenge so you’ll win
It’s not Aladdin’s Lamp or a magic wand
Hope and faith to get you off the ground

You owe to yourself and those you love
To keep hope alive with help from above 
Your enemies may try to pull you under
With this gift you can strike like thunder 

You begin an effort looking for a gain
Only two steps still remain
Gather up your courage-will and desire 
Now your ready to light the victory fire

With all in place you are ready
Mind tuned in -Take it slow and steady 
Whatever you do
It’s now up to you

    Keep writing-never stop

      NEVER NEVER GIVE UP
