                      Chapter 1
       Mr. Martin Meets Mr. King

Mr. Martin walked up to the doctors office and went into the waiting room and signed in so he could wait for someone to get him. So he waited and looked at his watch and taped his foot on the the floor. Then a pretty young lady came and took Mr. Martin to check his height and weight, so she asked him to take his shoes off and standing up against the wall. "Herbert your one inch shorter your 4'11" "oh well that's really short it's shorter than you" so then she took his weight, "hmm... Can't tell you but I can't read it so we will skip that" "fine by me but I am not that heavy at all, I am light" he and the lady sat in a room and talked, "so Herbert your allergic to pollen, pet dander, mold, and dust" "that's correct I am allergic to all of those things" "Mr. King will be with you shortly" Mr. Martin started to panic, "no no no not him not Mr. King, I don't want to have a shot lassy not another shot" "hey Herbert he is not going to give you a shot it's alright" so the lady left the room and Mr. Martin just looked at the walls, and thought that they were closing in on him. Mr. King walked in wearing a doctor's mask a long white coat and Blue pants and black formal wear shoes. Mr. Martin started backing up against the wall, Mr. Martin started crying. "Herbert! I am not here to give you a shot, god just clam down okay" "I- I c- can't a- at a- all" as Mr. Martin said with a stutter, "Herbert check up time let's see how tall you are  Herbert" "I am 4'11 now and we didn't take my weight, and my date of birth is 3/17/1923" "oh okay, that's interesting, you shrank one inch" "I know and I don't like that at all, hey is the appointment over" "yes it's over you can go home now" so Herbert jumped into his Chevrolet and drove home. He Got out of his car and went inside.

                       Chapter 2
    The Babies Make Daddy Messy

Mr. Martin walked to his wife Sharon and to his twin babies Anabelle and Logan, "Aww... Cute babies daddy loves you guys, mommy needs to tickle you" "honey I will tickle them both, *Sharon tickles the babies and they laugh* "Sharon honey they are so cute when laughing, and Anabelle looks like her daddy lassy" "I know logan looks like me Herbert" Mr. Martin took them and put them in the high chairs and then got the baby food. "Lassy what's for dinner for them this time" "carrots and peas" "for dessert" "pruns" then Mr. Martin started to give them some carrots and peas, they spit them at Mr. Martin, then he gave them some pruns and they spit them at his glasses. "Honey I can't really see at all right now" "oh ha ha ha honey you have pruns on your glasses" Mr. Martin wiped his glasses off and cleaned up the babies, "honey I could have cleaned them up" "oh but lassy it gives me something to do okay lassy" "yes dear" Mr. Martin soaped up the babies and put a nice new diaper on the babies and put them in their cribs and went down stairs and back to Mrs. Martin. "Oh honey the babies are in the cribs and having their naps" "honey did you make sure they have their shirts off so they are not hot" "yes lassy I did and work tomorrow morning, Mr. Allen said that to me" "well I am going to sleep come up to bed when you are ready okay Herbert" "alright lassy I will" so Mrs. Martin climbed the stairs and went to look at her babies and then she got into bed and fell asleep. Mr. Martin was sitting down stairs looking at his wedding ring and his hands, "I wonder if I will get tighter and fly or if I will grow but I was having hallucinationings that's why I was growing" so Mr. Martin started falling asleep and he woke up, and he checked his Wedding ring and his hands again. "Oh well nothing happened time to go up to bed now, lassy! I am coming up for bed, and to check the wee little lad and lassy" Mrs. Martin was still sleeping, and Mr. Martin tripped over the last stair and then he got back up, and went back down stairs and decided to make cookies, so he got the flower, two eggs, a block of butter, and some sugar, he took the flower out and it covered him from head to toe, so he decided to clean up but then his wife came down to check on him. "Herbert why are you covered in flower, and your trying to make cookies not right now bed now so go clean up, oh and honey remember the 50's are almost over" "Sharon my lassy it's the year 1959, and we have until December, and it's June almost July lassy" "oh I know that but should the babies go to the fourth of July prade" "Sharon they are 5 months, so yes"

                        Chapter 3
 High School Is Fun For Mr. Martin On Wensday

Mr. Martin woke up and got dressed and went down to get breakfast, "hey lassy what is for  breakfast" "well Herbert my love we have Bacon, Eggs, Toast with strawberry jelly, and Black coffee and a newspaper, that's all. "Hey lassy I can't eat black coffee only drink and I can't eat my newspaper lassy" "Herbert you can read your newspaper and drink the coffee, and then kiss us and go to school" Mr. Martin reads his newspaper and drinks his coffee and eats his food, and then he gives his dish to his wife and  his coffee cup and puts his newspaper down, and gets up and pushes his chair in. "Alright honey kiss, *Mrs. Sharon kisses Mr. Martin* how about the babies" *Mr. Martin kisses Anabelle and Logan* "have a good day at work dear, okay walk to the high school" "honey my lassy I will walk to my work, bye my lassy" so Mr. Martin walked out of the door to his house and started walking down the street, "oh my God it's the leaperchan Mr. Martin" "hey lad Don't call me your vice principal a leaperchan at all, am I Irish but I am not a leaperchan" "Herbert what's wrong with kids" "Sam I don't know what is wrong with kids" so Mr. Martin walked to his office and sat in his chair and started to fall asleep, and crashed. "Hey where am I" "Herbert your in dream Land" Mr. Martin looked at his body behind him, "Ahhh!!!!!!!!! Am I dead lassy" "no your not Herbert lad your in dream Land like I said" "I want to wake up lassy, hey your Irish to" Mr. Martin then woke up, "oh I am awake" Mr. Martin saw that Mrs. Sharon was wearing all black and he saw that he was in a coffin, "Ahhh!!!!! I can't be dead, Lassy I am only 36 years old, no no no, this is just crazy" the devil look at Mr. Martin, "what do you want, no I can't be dead what dose my grave say, here lies Herbert Franics Martin who died of insanity​" Mr. Martin actually woke up and he was in his office and work was ending, "already time to go home well time to go home, but I love Wedesday's tomorrow sleep for work, that would make my lassy happy" so Mr. Martin shut the light off pushed his chair in and went out his office door and left for the outside, "I guess no one mind if I had a long nap in my office not any lad's or lassies cared at all" so Mr. Martin rubbed his eyes as he walked home, and then he paused and napped a little well standing up, and someone bumped into him, and he woke up. 

                    Chapter 4
         Doctor's Visit For Logan  And          Anabelle

"Hi honey I am home" "hi dear it's been a long time did you fall asleep at work again Herbert" Mr. Martin just walked to the couch and laid down, and shut his eyes. "Sharon my lassy I was over tired last night and fell asleep at work" "honey we have to bring Anabelle and Logan to a doctor's appointment, okay the babies have it right now so let's go" Mr. Martin got up and got Anabelle and Logan and put them in the stroller and let Mrs. Martin push it. "Let's get them inside to doctor Bankson okay honey" "can I rest my head lassy, please" "sure Herbert but I will come back to check on you and to bring you into the babies check up" so Mrs. Martin left and Mr. Martin difted off sleep and Dr. King took him and Mr. Martin was still sleeping. "Alright Mr. Martin shot time, and at least your sleeping, Mrs. Winter give me the needle"
"Yes Mr. King here you go" so Mr. King opened the needle and put it into Mr. Martin, "he needs one more shot Mrs. Winter" "here you go the last shot for Mr. Martin" so Mr. Martin started waking up, and he opened his eyes and screamed, "let go of me, help me  Sharon lassy help!" "Excuse me doctor I have to go see my husband" "you mean that little Irish man" "yes Lou` Komi`, my husband" "oh make him come here, okay I want to say hi" so Mrs. Martin ran down to where Mr. Martin was yelling from, "Let go of him Mr. King, no shots for him, he fanited" "Mr. Martin wake up please I didn't mean to make you fanit" Mr. Martin doesn't move, he just stays still on the floor. "Honey wake up *kiss* I kissed you honey." Mr. Martin wakes up and Mrs. Martin picks him up from the floor and he runs to Doctor Lou` Komi, "how are my babies lad?" "They are good" so Mr. Martin sees that Anabella and Logan are the same size and weighs.

                            
      
                       Chapter 5   
            The July 4 Day Parade

So after the doctor appointment for the babies Mr. Martin and Mrs. Martin took the babies to the 4 of July prade. Music was playing drums were beating and floats were flying high in the sky, "hey Anabelle and Logan say Dada". "Dada, Dada" "what a good job look at the floats." Now everyone fell asleep before the fireworks started. "Come on Herbert darling time to leave." So they started to leave and head home. When they were back home Herbert said "hey lassy I was thinking I need to go crazy because I love it that way okay lassy?" Sharon look worried at Herbert and said "honey you can't I just got you fixed."





                    Chapter 6
        Herbert Needs Some Help

As Herbert was thinking why he was not going crazy like he always did, Sharon his wife was on the phone with the psychic ward trying to find out if one of them could help Herbert be good old Herbert. As Herbert was about to go upstairs he heard a knock at the front door he opened up the door and saw a man who was taller than him and who was wearing a long white coat, he walked inside and sat on the living room couch and Herbert went to go sit in his loveseat. Then the man took out a pad of paper from his front pocket and a fountain pen out of his front pocket also. He then looked at Herbert and Herbert looked at him and Sharon said "this is Mr. Wright he is the director of the psychic hospital and Specializes with people who want to go crazy.



                        Chapter 7
      Mr. Wright Brings Herbert To The Insane Asylum 

Now as Sharon told Herbert who Mr. Wright was, Herbert was ready to run away. So Mrs. Sharon held down Herbert so he couldn't exscape at all, then Mr. Wright said "Mrs. Martin you can let him go now he is going to be in good hands once we bring him to the insane asylum, which house over two thousand  nine hundred and ninety nine patients in the facility. Once Herbert's there he will be happy and safe everyone has a place there, and when they start to feel better then they go home good as new. Mr. Wright had a creepy smile to his face and picked up Herbert and put Herbert inside his old Chevy bel air. Sharon grab Herbert's things and Mr. Wright opened the back trunck and help Sharon put Herbert's things in and he closed the trunck and Sharon went to Herbert's car window and said I am so sorry dear but it's best for both of us, goodbye Herbie Frankie Martin. Herbert had tears in his eyes as Mr. Wright drove the car away from the Martin's household.




                      Chapter 8
Herbert's Night At The Insane Asylum

As Mr. Wright pulled up to the gate to the insane asylum Herbert started panicking and screaming out Sharon's name, Mr. Wright drove in and the gate closed behind them. Then as the car came to a complete stop a women wear a nurse hat and a nurse dress came to get Herbert out of the car, and so she opened up Herbert's passenger side door and took him by the arm and brought him inside and to a desk. Then Mr. Wright brought Herbert's things inside and placed then in room 304, the nurse got Herbert clothes and brought him so he could take a psychic shower. After Herbert was done taking his shower Mr. Wright ask the nurse to get all the information on Herbert's case, so nurse Brigitte went up to room 304 and ask Herbert his date of birth and other things. "Well I was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1923, on March 17, I am 36 years old going to 37 in March, I have two lovely little twin babies one a girl the other a boy. I am 4'11 have a wife named Sharon Mae Martin, I have nine Identical twin brothers no sisters, my mother and father are both dead, I have red/orange ish hair, freckles across my nose, I have big ears, I am a little cubby, I work at Gold Mayer Academy as vice principal, and I have a caring love for everyone. Nurse Brigitte wrote everything down and went back down stairs and put Herbert's file in the letter H. 




                           Chapter 9
   Herbert starts talking to himself

Once Herbert was all a lone he started to talk to himself, he said "I need my lassy right Nicholas, sure Herbert." Herbert was pretending to be his identical twin brother Nicholas, he didn't know another person was in the room with him, so Herbert turned around and jumped and said "I- I d- didn't k- know a- anyone e- else w- was i- in h- here a- at a- all." Herbert said with a stutter. Then his room mate got up from the top bed and climb down the latter and said "my name is Ricky Jackson, I used to be a normal guy who had a loving family until one day they brought me to this place." Herbert looked at Ricky and just wondering why Ricky was here, "um... Ricky why are you here?" Ricky said "I am here because I started taking the myself like you and having Imaginary Friends to talk to." Then Herbert started falling asleep and he walked to the bunk bed and fell asleep on the bottom bunk.




                        Chapter 10
           Herbert doesn't wake up

So as Herbert drifted off to sleep, his roommate took a pillow and put it over his face and Herbert blacked out and his roommate climbed up to his bed and a nurse came to check up on Herbert and Ricky so the nurse went in and check up on both of them and then left. As morning time arrived everyone woke up but Herbert, his roommate tried waking up Herbert but Herbert didn't move at all, so Ricky called for a nurse and the nurse ran in and tried waking up Herbert also. Then Herbert woke up and said "Ricky made me pass out lassy he tried to kill me, I just can't be here it's not safe it's just not I want to go home. Then one of the doctor's took a needle and put it in Herbert and Herbert fell asleep.



                         Epilogue

Will Herbert live the insane asylum or will he be there for ever, and keep a look out for more Mr. Martin's Adventures stories.
