Went to a bar-b-que today
Friends and family with some of their children were there
The children ages ranged from 13 to 85
I sat by the side of the gathering 
enjoying tje food- as I usually do
and watching and listening to the social
interaction taking place
I am ny nature a people watcher so after the greetings and pleasantries took
place I parked myself in the yard while whete watched and listened

Much of what I heard of interest to me reflected what I read daily in WO
The issue of problems-disappointments
achievement-disagreements etc.was what l was focused on
There  was also discussion of politics- abortion and religion on varies levels of
decibels that I for the most part
ignored for that usually ends with one 
person trying to convert the other to their   personal beliefs 
My focus from a  fifteen year old boyhaving an argument 
with his parent-“ you don’t understand-you don’t know anything....”to a group
discussing retirement 
My main attention was drawn to a mixture of topics that reflected the
potpourri of issues by our writers 
Then a remarkable - almost surreal 
thing occurred.As I listened i started paring what I heard  with portions of work that I’ve read here with what I was hearing-as well as recalling some or the faces andsymbols shown on the intrductry page of our app

I never experienced this kind of recall 
before- maybe in a dream but not as vivid and long, it was amazing!
On the way home I realized that this app adventure has made such incredible
impact on me - beyond my expectations

I look forward with anticipation for the next get together for the conversations and the food
