When friends turn into strangers, then strangers turn into foes.
I guess it’s not just the bitches that come and go, it’s also the ones you’d never think would stoop so low.
I guess that’s just how life goes, then along comes a stranger that doesn’t pretend and says what needs to be said.
That’s a true friend, one to not condone distance.
That is a true friend, one that may have to say the exact thing you don’t want to be said.
It may feel like a wave crashing over you but it will get you back to shore.
Possibly bruised and sore but at least they got you back on land.
Better than watching the current sweep you out to sea as you dissipate slowing drowning into the distance.
Showing no remorse of it since they are safe on land while you struggle to stay afloat as the oceans current devours every ounce of your power leading you toward the horizons uncharted waters.
When friends turn to strangers and strangers turn to foes, are those that were never meant to join you as you embark on life’s inevitable unexpected adventures.
