You and I, 
we started with a song. 
One that we listened to so much,
I would often find myself hearing it in my dreams.
We fell in love with the song
just as we fell in love with each other-
slowly and then all at once.
Sometimes, if I try, I can faintly hear the melody, 
even though the two of us, and the song that started it all
have become nothing more than a long forgotten memory.
