Do not demonise the child, who is
Searching for answers running wild
Though they run they cannot hide
from the demons they carry inside

Society unqualified righteously judge
A broken innocence that holds a grudge 
Unsettled, unsure about the reason why
Solace not found in the tears they cry

Do we know the story behind the mask
Of self destruction, maybe we should ask
We might be surprised at what we find
A tortuous past, nightmares left behind

Presumptuousness, an inability to know
This global ignorance begins to show
The misunderstanding, kept in suspense
Of a traumatic past, of a time that now is spent

Oh but how we will label this unruly child
Who has a depth of pain lodged inside
An innocent soul, to the night was gone
By a trusting love, who did them wrong

Do not demoralise this innocent child
Who is broken, who is suffering inside
Praying to God their nightmare will end
They need no more enemies, they need a friend
