Who’s To Blame 4/7/19 Read Count : 139

It’s your fault
No -it’s your fault      !!!
It’s not my fault
It’s a fault assault

How many times has this happened
When confrontation ignites
Two people face to face
Wrapped up in a verbal fight

From every age it’s a common theme
No one deserves the blame
Amidst the finger pointing scream
Repeating words the same

What is the solution to this puzzle
Short of putting  them in muzzles
It’s the wonder of the ages
You can deal with this in different stages

After fire and brimstone settles down
And what remains are two great frowns
The silence opens up the door
To evaluate what did occur

Each can reflect within themselves
And see who lit the fire
If one or both can apologize
For the peace that they desire

At  others times their ego
Is too strong to condescend
And the refusal of either to let go
Signals bitter end
