The truth hurts, so live a lie

A joyous act, the last goodbye

Worry not, forget your fears

I'll speak no more of blood-stained tears

Line after line the play goes on

All too soon the mask is gone

Replace it quick before they see

Just how scared my arms can be

Smile be happy, play pretend

It what they see, until the end

They all believe, All is well

Sweetened words, the lies I tell

Help I would find, if I could speak

To voice aloud the help I seek

My voice a whisper, script ignored

I don't know, I'm only bored

I've much to live for, practised skills

Would you believe me, boredom kills
