I wander like a dog
on road, tram,plane
and college side
in dark and cloudy night
seeking the rendezvous
in nook and neek
in motel and book shop
in cafe' palace
and hilly side
I am your ardent
eremite
Sometimes you on rickshaw
sometimes you on foot
sometimes you in college que
I wonder so reckless
in timid frightening
raining mist and dew
You sip coffee, tea and juice
you pip in outside the window
temple mosque car wind blew
you utter unquoth trouble
you write and conceal a line
you saw me and muttered
you called me slow softly nice
you pretty pretty pretty
your rosary grace
you pursue me
you overtake me and smile
you utter Childish Childish
How Tender is night
now you are not to meet
your lad is faraway
there are numbness barriers
you have no approach in life
I am your ardent eremite
How Tender is the night!

Friends may ask me about inspiration -- as it was written on 22/8/1984 where I recollected some reminiscences and wrote this poem but it was not published so today I rephrased it where I poured the feelings onto page because everyone likes to be frenzy for some one hence all activities elaborated here are the period from years 1975 to 1976.I got solace and comfort after writing this poem.
