We all seek happiness 
If it eludes us first look within 
Then look around 
Listen and observe what others have found 

We all have been victims 
Of fates evil side
Many still suffering this horrible ride

We know it’s not easy 
To turn it around 
It’s long and it’s painful 
To get off the ground 

Advice that is given
Hands reaching out
Can start things in motion
Toward a good turnabout 

Listen intently 
To all that you feel 
If you believe your desire is real

Be up for the challenge 
Determined and strong 
To fight for the your right
To illuminate wrong 

One question remains 
If you contemplate change
If there is  no progress 
 And still the same stress 

Do you painfully stagnant 
And stay where you are
Or challenge the demons 
And reach for that star
