The crawling infant pushes to stand upShe falls and falls but doesn’t give upBaby perseverance finally winsMagnified proudly by a baby grinThe little leaguer hits off the teeTrying to hit the ball as far as could be With help from the coach the balls starts to flyYou can tell success by the gleamIn his eyeFrom infancy to maturity we seek successSometimes we fail and it leads to distressThose not daunted and fight to achieveCan reach their objective and find reliefAs we get older and we leave the nestWe begin to learn what’s bad andwhat’s bestIssues more complex as we’re onour ownUnlike the safety that we had at homeOur social and school life and jobmore intenseChallenge our experience to getoff the fenceThe fence of decision the one’s ever dayBecome harder then those made at playMeaningful relationships begin to evolveCan lead to distress as we look to resolveWe now can recall from our vault of experienceA guide to achieve a happy deliveranceThe lesson to learn is easy to seePut it to practice may be hardas can beBut staying the course even with error hold on to the idea of never say neverEven a failure can help you achieve by varying your strategy to find whatyou seekTrial and Error is a basic conceptA problem solver you might acceptIt’s with a try as you travel onIt may surprise you with thatproblem gone
