The crawling infant pushes to stand up
She falls and falls but doesn’t give up
Baby perseverance finally wins
Magnified proudly by a baby grin

The little leaguer hits off the tee
Trying to hit the ball as far as could be With help from the coach the balls starts to fly
You can tell success by the gleam
In his eye

From infancy to maturity we seek success
Sometimes we fail and it leads to distress
Those not daunted and fight to achieve
Can reach their objective and find relief

As we get older and we leave the nest
We begin to learn what’s bad and
what’s best
Issues more complex as we’re on
our own
Unlike the safety that we had at home

Our social and school life and  job
more intense
Challenge our experience to get
off the fence
The fence of decision the one’s ever day
Become harder then those made at play

Meaningful relationships begin to evolve
Can lead to distress as we look to resolve
We now can recall from our vault of experience
A guide to achieve a happy deliverance

The lesson to learn is easy to see
Put it to practice may be hard
as can be
But staying the course even with  error hold on to the idea of never say never
Even a failure can help  you achieve by varying your strategy to find what
you seek

Trial and Error is a basic concept
A problem solver you might accept
It’s with a try as you travel on
It may surprise you with that
problem gone
