CHAPTER 1
Hmm... What's that glowing thing over there? Wait! that's where those foreigners just moved in, right?
"A fire!" A women yells in front of me, "that house is on fire!"
Fire? Their house on fire?! I race towards the gleaming flames that you could smell from a mile away. How could it catch on fire that quick, I just went and gave them muffins 30 minutes ago as a welcome gift. I couldn't understand them though, they were speaking some weird language. I just walked back into town afterwards to get something to eat.
I slow to and gaze upon the blazing sparks of red and orange. Ack! Ack! This smoke is so thick, what happened?
"Get me down!" I hear a young voice scream to me. Who said it? Where did it come from?
 "Up here, moron!"
I look up at the roof and see a little boy sitting there, trying to not fall. OMG! Now I've seen everything.
"What are you waiting for?" He sceams, "are ladder?"
This kid has some mouth doesn't he, "yeah", I Cross my arms. "The ladder should be here by morning".
"I'm sorry!" He begs. "Help me!"
I walk up closer to the house. "What's the magic word?" I ask him.
 "Please", he yells.
That's what I want to hear. I race in the burning building, dodging all the flames and holding my breath. I need air, my breath is giving up on me but... I need to save that kid. I turn to the stairs and run up them before the starving flames eat 'em up. These are a lot of stairs, what the heck!
When I get to the top, to the left, can see the only open door so I'm guessing that's his room. I race in am looking around.
"Ah! Please don't die! I need help!" The kid screams from the top of his lungs and I can hear the roof breaking from here to.
Wait, he sounds awfully close. I notice the cool breeze of the open bay window and make my way through the white, silk, curtain. The fire, I can smell it. I look behind myself and see the fire burning it's way through the door. Dang it!
I climbed up on the low roof and struggle all the way up.
"You finally made it!", the kid screams in my face.
"You want me to fall? Brat!"
Whoa, now that I look at him up close, his light skin is really beaten up and burned but still seems soft. Such soft eyes, and long blonde hair. He looks about six.
 "What?" He scowls.
"Nothing", I giggle, "you just look real cute".
"I'm not cute", he turns away from me. "Wait! Didn't you get up here to get me down?" He panics.
 "Just relax", I tell him.
"What for?" He scoots away from me.
"Fine!" I yell out, "let's question my process as we closer and closer to burning to death".
He closes his eyes and relaxes his musculs.
Okay? That was quick, usually it takes people a while to losen up this much. This should be easy then.
I kiss the top of his forhead and all I can see is white. I guess it worked.
