I reached my hand out, only to have it turned away.

I what's left alone in the vastness of deep space.

The overwhelming urge which gripped me to hate.

It was meant to be my fate.

A mountain I had to climb alone.

Like I had been waylaid by time.

The pain I endured was great.

Yet, my heart was as cold as stone.

As I lay there all alone.
