Most people see the sun
As theiir breakfast time is done
You think that mine’s more fun
My breakfast is at one

You see I have some issues 
No tears please and no tissues 
When waking I need help
For things can’t do myself 

My lovely wife’s the one
Who gets that job done
Her chores do keep her busy 
Her list could make you dizzy

When she gets to me
Then then things I do myself 
I’m ready to begin  
Getting my food off the shelf 

When I’m in the kitchen 
To start my am mission 
Most people have returned 
From the lunch break they have earned 

My breakfast time’s unique 
But I’m really not a freak 
It’s learning to adjust 
When schedule’s says you must 

It’s really not that rough
Though some may think it odd
But because of my condition 
I had to play this card

The breakfast itself 
Is not a big production
It usually consists 
Of a single Raisin Bran muffin 

You may wonder 
Why this mundane topic
In a very weird way 
I think quite exotic

When your at your noontime meal
Eating what you think appeals
I’ll be eating muffins 
You maybe eating veal
