Sometimes it only takes one person 
To change your life forever 
Or keep you on track 
Someone to turn to when life gets bad
To share with you your happiness 
When  things are great

In life we are confronted with a roller coaster of situations and experiences 
Having a stabilizing force to support 
Guide us and share is a blessing  
  
Unfortunately may not know who this person or people are until we spend time together  
To trust someone involves risk taking
You are revealing on a personal level
which can backfire with the wrong 
person 
Trust also takes time therefore involves 
patience and cautious expectations

Many of us have been hurt by expecting 
too much too soon 
That can make us reluctant to establish this kind of relationship again

We also may be the one chosen to be that friend and being trusted with
their revealstions giving you the
responsibility to be trusted

While it is easy to put this on paper 
It  is much more complicated in  reality 
but just as vital 

Based our individual personalities-
experiences and situations will determine how we interpret this need and act on it with the hope that you find or have found the cherished few
And have become one yourself
