My mom told me that when I was born that I was the cutest baby she had ever seen, she also told me that she' almost named me Billie Jean,  she said that because I was so cute I could of passed for a girl,  instead she named me Derrick  Charles and what a blessing that was thank God she didn't name me  Earl, so as life began to unravel and unfold  for me I soon began to wonder what if i were a girl would I live  my life with caution and be very careful of the people I meet or would I live life dangerously and challenge everything and everyone knowing that it's me against the world, if I were a girl would I be the kind a girl that speaks her mind  and doesn't care what others think, or would I  be the kind of girl that looks the other way  and  is always wondering  what people are saying about her and she melts like butter if you give her a smile or a wink, I bet being a girl can be very hard and at times can consume  you, but let's face it at the end of the day being a boy is no picnic either considering all the things I've been through, so if I were a girl I would probably be sitting in a room wishing I were a boy, God does things for a reason including picking  your gender so I  thank you God because you could have named yourself Roy
