I hear a voice...Calling me, trying to tell me something but the soundis faint. Every time I get closer to being able to hear I wake up only getting split pieces of the message. The last three nights have the same dream and only one word each time. Danger, heaven, hell, and tonight's word being awaken. I look at my clock and its 6:50, ten minutes before the alarm is suppose to go off to wake me up for the hell on earth or high school.

 So I get up and walk to my bathroom and take a shower and get dressed. I go down to the kitchen to see another note, I smirked and I read it. It was my parents saying they had to leave on another trip and they left me with some money inside and some on my card. Life with no parents around, people wish they could have this life; I didn't care for it since even when they weren't away on business they were never home. I grab my bag and keys and walk to the garage.

Stomach growls a bit, guess I should get a bite before class. I hop into my Chevy and drive to a quick convenience store around the corner of the school. I grabbed an Egg sandwich, a Pepsi and some chips for later. I see a girl getting some chips and a mountain dew but she was short a dollar, so I decided to be nice and help her out. I walked up to her and said "excuse me but I got a dollar u can use" and handed it to her.

 "Thanks but why are you helping me" she asked and I told her "because no needs to go on an empty stomach or a dry mouth”. “We’re already zombies for having to get up this early in the morning”. She chuckled and I did too a bit since I was being a corny and a dork and I looked into her eyes a second and she had eyes that were as blue as clear water and lovely shade of red hair. My phone vibrates remind me I was going to be late soon, kind of bad to be late to a school you've been forced to switch to due to parents wanting to push you but hey we've all been there. Ran back to the car and hopped in to get to the new school I’m supposed to go too.

  I scarf down the egg sandwich while driving and drain some of the Pepsi as I walk from the parking lot. I look at the campus of the school I’m suppose to be enrolled in now.Saint Absalon's university, a university that has a junior senior program for high school students interested in attending after graduating, my new school.Every time I say the name I get a bad taste in my mouth that couldn't be explained, so I chug the rest of my Pepsi and walk towards the campus. I feel a sharp pain in my head for a split second and a voice that said "don't go in there". The pain made me take a knee for a minute since it was sudden and painful. It made me stop and think this voice was different it was feminine and yet familiar too, but I couldn't think long since the first bell rang and so I dismissed it and ran to class.

The hallways are huge but packed with students clamoring to get to class, or stand around not caring. The building has about four floors, five if you include the ground floor. The ground floor is basically the registrar offices, students go there to enroll, transfer, and bitch and moan about fees.The first floor is for the junior and seniors attending the school,second-fourth are the college part of the school. I need to get the first floor before I end up with the first tardy of the semester.

I start making my way around all the other students and as I’m passing I see all the high school stereotypes in the short span of thirty seconds. Jocks are on the left, nerds on the right. Stuck up girls all giggling and laughing about who they want to mooch off of on the football team. Then there are the rest of the people who are unknown or I didn't bother analyzing them. Got to the stairs then I hear a guy call me.

“Hey your new around here right?” I turned around said “Yes I am,why?”  i looked at the guy wondering why is he stopping me now of all times and why me. “You don’t have an id you need to go to room 140 on the left side of the hallway and get one.” He pointed towards the hall where the room was. I walked to room and there was a line. Well I might as well give up on getting there on time. Then another sharp pain hit me as the voice came back it said “look up now!”  I heard a creaking sound and I looked up and the light lamp fell down. I backed up and it shattered on the ground.

Then I hear someone say “thanks for listening” and I instinctively turned around since I figured it out immediately that it was that girl from the convenience store. “I didn't know you went here. You’re not exactly in the school uniform” she had on a Black Sweater and a long white skirt. “They didn't have a uniform in my size it needs to be ordered” she told me. “I’m sure you have a lot of questions but it’s not safe to talk at school. Let’s talk at lunch we can go off campus also my name is Claire” “I’m Samuel and I will hold you to that” we got our ids and went off to class and that was a boring three hours. Once it was time for lunch I walked to my car and she was already there. “I knew you would already be here Claire.” I hopped in and unlocked the door for her and drove off the campus. I get the feeling my life is going to dive into a really weird turn of events.
