In the age of when angels and demons began the great conflict and man was not involved in the war. there was another race of man, born human with the power of both angels and demons within their veins, the nephilim. the potential of the nephilim was never truly understood as each nephilim possesed powers and abilities of their own. the only thing that was always known about the nephilim was that their physical abilites rivaled that of giants. the powers of the nephilim were feared not only by the demons of hell but the angels in heaven as well. so an agent of heaven and hell was sent to persuade the nephilim to join their sides. the nephilim refused the offers of both heaven and hell and choose to wage war on both the angels and the demons. alone and seperate the angels nor the demons could handle the onslaught of the nephilim, but there was betrayer in the ranks of the nephilim.  the serpent absalon, decived his brothers and sisters into spliting their forces in two to wipe out the angels and demons in certain locations. however those locations would hold an horde of both angels and demons awaiting to ambush the split nephilim forces.  all togethter the nephilim were an unstopable force but with this split against both forces they were overrun. the souls of all the nephilim were sealed away never seen from again, their tremendous power locked away. at least all that was found.
