When Albert Einstein asked about his belief in God, he replied: “I believe in Spinoza’s God, who reveals Himself in the orderly harmony of what exists.”

In short, his concept of God is “everything that exists is a part of God and that God is in everything that exists.” The atheist conceptualization of God was shared by pagan though they may claim a worshiper of a million god.

But if you asked a professed Christian, he will reply: “My God is Jesus.”

While the Muslim will say: “Allah is my God.”

Who is God?

Allah is a construction of an Arabic word Al-llah which mean The God. Hence, the Islamic Allah is nameless. However, sura 27:40 tells of someone who has knowledge of scriptures. Tafsīr Jalālayn commentary explains this verse it says: “Asaf the son of Barkhiyā was a righteous man. He knew God’s greatest name, and whenever he called on it, he was answered.”

Such commentary attested that God has a name that the Koran failed to mention.

In the Bible there’s a man named Asaph, he was one among the writers of Psalm.

Asaph wrote at Psalm 83:18: “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.”
