Why can you not feel my pain
When you are the one who gave it to me?
Why can you not see my hurt
Whilst you still let it be?
How can you watch me cry
Without guilt drenching you?
How can you still smile
When my sadness should reign you too?
When can I be at peace
From your torturous ways?
Will it be hours, months,
or even years or days?
All I know is that even though
You are one of a kind
You suffocate me constantly
As your habitat is my mind
