Life is filled with the bad and goodI try to focus on the positivesAs I think I I shouldThey are the power -my energy sourceThey make up the compassThat keeps me on courseFirst there’s family-they’re number oneThey’ve saved me a few timesWhen I thought I was doneTheir sacrifice given with no hesitationI try to repayWith loving appreciationPhyllis my rock sharing it allThe wonderful timesAnd the times we did fallKara and Jodi Our daughters divineJust saying their namesMakes my heart shineOur son Marc taken too soonHe lives in our heartsLike a spiritual tuneThen there’s are our “grand kids”The beautiful five-another main reasonWhy I’m still aliveThere are my friends and colleagues from schoolLong lasting friendshipsMore energy fuelWriting is a passion Initially for therapyNow a building block for egoA really bonus equityI know thatthere will always be strifeBut being fortified with good thingsI can face that part of life
